As we get ready to say f£&k off to 2023 and the year is winding down it’s time for our annual Thank You Free Month! I’ve paused the billing cycle so that’s a whole month of access to the… 7000+ (?) posts here.

Whenever I pause the billing, a few of your awesome lot ask me how to send your support regardless ( https://ko-fi.com/cmptips ) but this time around I’m going to be a bit different with it. This year, including the upcoming month, I haven’t charged for a total of 5 months - due to my situation as Mrs Wife’s “unpaid carer” (uk govt’s term for it) - So if you’d like to share your pledge and continue your support, thank you very much in advance.

During December I’ll still be creating content and streaming but at a much lower capacity while I catch up on outstanding projects.

A massive, epic, gratuitous thank you to you all for sticking around and continuing to support the comic, the artwork and myself!

Enjoy your free month of access, Rangers!

UPDATE: Cancelling your support during November means you'd miss out on a month of free access. Resuming your pledge at the same level will incur no cost so long as it is before December 1st.

In an unexpected twist, Patreon (the company) changed something AND actually told us about it. I’ll get the Chats thing set up seein as I’m locked out of my old Discord account. Here’s what the company has to say:

“Below is some sample wording that you can use to talk through these changes with your community. Of course, feel free to tweak so it’s in your own voice:

Let’s talk about chats! I’m so excited to have a new way for all of us to connect outside of dms and comments.

Chats are a huuuge step forward from the member posts tab, allowing us to get even closer, all in real time.

They’re also great for announcements and updates that feel too lightweight for me to do a whole post on.

If you have any questions or need help getting started, feel free to ask (in a chat, even!), or you can always check out the Patreon
Help Center.”

Understandable decision with December adding to the chaos. Hopefully we can give 2023 a good sodding off and 2024 is a more generous year in terms of being better.
