CMP Update / the man who would be houmous (Patreon)

Sup gang!

Little bit of an update and explanation for y’all’s. As some of you may remember, my wife suffers from a chronic back injury which makes me, what the uk government calls, her “unpaid carer” and the “primary care giver” for our 3 year old, Little Witcher.

Over the last couple of weeks Mrs Wife’s back has been particularly bad. Which means I’ve been doing more and more solo. As an example, I don’t drive and Mrs Wife has been unable to drive lately. That means taking Little Witcher to nursery on foot. Last week, between nursery runs and entertaining LW, I walked over 30 miles. Granted, that’s not actually a huge amount but it is about 20 more than usual.

Anyway, getting to the point at last. I am completely and utterly exhausted. I got back from taking LW to nursery this afternoon, sat down to work and… now it’s now. That is to say, I fell asleep at my desk almost instantly.

I’ve got some new artwork to post during this week and I’m aiming to stream this coming weekend, but I need to take a few days to recover somewhat. I loathe the thought of letting you all down - and missing (self imposed) deadlines for content feels that way to me.

I’m optimistic as ever that things will improve once again, but I do need a little bit of time get myself right this week. I’ve got new pics to share with you all on Wednesday, Thursday (Cheetara from Thundercats as the Top Toer Thursday post this week) and on Friday.
