Another very complex page this week! I’m more concerned about a suitable word for the sound of tentacles bursting out of the water, though. “Splash!” isn‘t right but I’m coming up blank. Any suggestions, Rangers?

Could go with something like 'Fwoosh!', which also suggests an element of speed without entirely losing a sense of 'liquid'. :)

That’s a great one for fast movement, thanks mate. The focus of the panel is the tentacles suddenly emerging from the water so I’m not 100% sure that’s a perfect fit for that panel.

since sound effects are mostly made up words anyway, go with something like Skrassh
