Even the destination, Suomaa was completely different than Aygul had ever thought. Somehow she expected to see big stone buildings, paved roads, and a crowd of people wandering on narrow streets below the scorching sun. But it all was different. Even the midsummer sun was like the moon in the south. Nevertheless, Aygul ignored differences and knew she would have plenty of time to explore around and realize what this world was. Despite her braveness in her heart, she was a traditional B'tumi woman. So, of course, she was happy that Tapani had his own house and no inlaws were commanding her, but somehow she was missing more people and action in the home.

Despite her freedom, Aygul was a slave of her culture. Even though pressure from her family was missing, she wanted to have a child as fast as possible. However, she was forced to wait until they were in Suomaa. Carrying a child in her belly through Jokimaa would have been dangerous and heavy. Aygul and Casia realized the trip's dangers in the first winter when the river got frozen and snow-covered ground. They had listened to stories about snow and winter and saw snow on the mountain peaks. Both of them thought that snow was like sand but light and floated nicely through the air. So the coldness was a surprise. Now Aygul was happy, the nights of the young summer were chilly, but they were at home.

She decided to have a moment with Tapani without Casia while out with Siiri and Raido. Aygul always admired how Casia was natural without clothes. Aygul liked being without heavy clothes and showing herself to his man. Still, she was the product of her culture and felt shy when approaching Tapani. Her shyness might be because of her plan and desire that was burning in her body.
