"Fresh blood, fear, and wine work," Gomeshi answered and continued. "Villagers make good wine."

At this point, Karim knew he could talk with Gomeshi. If the beast liked wine, that could not be a very bad beast. It might be mad from loneliness, but it was probably not evil. Just a little bit sadistic. 

"You can enjoy girl many other ways than eating. But, lucky for you, some fear might be involved with that enjoyment." Karim said. He was ready to defend himself against attack, but Gomeshi relaxed quickly. 

"What could be better than a flush of fresh blood in your mouth and death screams?" Gomeshi asked. 

"I don't know about that flush, but there can be all sorts of flushes with a girl," Karim said, and he continued, "even bloody if you like. But adding some wine to the girl makes wild effects." 

"Does it change her taste?" Gomeshi asked in confusion. 

"You don't eat her. You can do some licking. With Gomeshi's tongue, girls will go crazy." Karim answered. 

"Adding wine to the girl and licking her?" Gomeshi said. "And what is the pleasure in that? Especially if a girl goes crazy?"

"You have missed too much fun in your life." Karim smiled. Poor Gomeshi was very innocent. It was young but old enough to have pleasure from the woman and enjoy what the woman could offer. 

Now our poor sacrificial slave girl started to listen to what the hero said to the beast. First, she hoped to see a brave man enter the scene and hack the beast to pieces, but now he started talking with the beast.
