Inna was shackled and taken to wait for something. Captors put her to sit next to some loot like she was part of it. The boy stayed on guard while the man who captured her ran away, shouting: "Captain Aygul!"

He disappeared between the houses that were left intact and not burned. Two boats were moored to the pier, and the crew was loading new items to the boats. It looked like boats were fully loaded and were prepared more for the trade than raid. Inna was surprised when she realized that something was wrong. She had overheard talking about someone shooting arrows at the boats. Sadness was sneaking into her mind, and she wondered if villagers or guards had initiated this unfortunate attack.

poor girl .. will she ever learn who shot the arrows at the boats?

Emarukistan

She will, but not in this mini-series that is more like a teaser for you while I enjoy the luxury of modern air travel... Next time I will walk.

i am for truth in advertising - they should rename "economy" to "slave class" and issue mandatory shackles and cuffs to every passenger right at the security check .. 8) (that might be an idea for your "modern slavery" series . showing the "slave hold" in an airliner or train)
