Inna was screaming from fear. She was not fighting against a strong attacker, but she was sure her end had come. The man pressed her down and looked at her carefully.

"You were so stupid you stayed here fighting?" The man asked her. He laughed and continued. "I'm happy I didn't strike you to death before understanding what you are. I will take you as my loot and change you into a fat gold bag. Bitches like this are valuable there where we are going."

Inna didn't comprehend what the man was talking. She was sure he would soon strip her pants and violate her. Everybody knew what raiders did when they captured women from the villages. Then he would kill her. 

"You don't understand. I will take you as my slave. The village was poor, and there was little to take. I wonder how losers like you decided to shoot us when we passed without harm in our mind." Man continued. 

Now Inna was listening more carefully. She didn't know anything about the attack. They would not attack any passing boat because they didn't have a big fighting force. 

"I will take you to the captain and request to take you as my loot." The man said; in a way, Inna understood what he was meaning.

"Then what will you do to me?" Inna cried in fear.

"Nothing. I will keep caring for you and sell you if the captain agrees." The man answered, and Inna realized he would take her as his slave. However, he would not kill her.

"I can serve you well," Inna whispered between her tears.

"I don't need a slave. I need gold, and you will make a fat bag of gold for me." Man laughed.
