Lauren has been joining the raiding party from a remote village. Unfortunately, they didn’t respect common habits, and they were suspected of raiding also own people. Group was accused of acting as highwaymen on local roads. They were also suspected of stealing cattle. The village leader wanted to equip the boat for a long journey, and he needed extra property to make that fast. Raisa didn’t know about the boat or village leader, and it was a great shock for her to hear the man’s name. Before Boris Jorma was courting Raisa and it was near that they had ended up being a couple. Jorma was a warrior like Boris, but he was not a defender; he was a raider. Raiding parties were important, and the fortune they collected from foreign land helped poor villages. But Raisa liked Boris devoted to keeping the homeland safe.

It was a shock to hear that her cousin Lauren had joined suspected thieves led by Jorma. The last time she spoke with Jorma, half of his village was on the trip with an adventurer who had discovered an easy way to far lands in the east. Most likely, Jorma got an idea about his own boat from that adventurer.
