Casia shouted by surprise. She was not expecting to restrain to open so easily. Now Casia and Raisa had full attention. Tapani had his attention on Jorma and Tero when they arrived, and now he noticed the beaten prisoner for the first time. Tuija was staring at Casia, who was looking at Tapani with a surprised expression on her face.

“What the fuck is that?” Tapani asks.

“Last bitch from Ahstad,” Tuija smirked, “Your souvenir decided to set her free?”

“She might be sensitive when she sees restrained and tortured people,” Tapani answered. Casia made an incident once before a thief was whipped in the marketplace. Also that time Tapani managed to mitigate damage by talking to people. Casia was sensitive when she saw whip or cane around. Tapani was looking at the naked girl. She had a familiar face, and it took a moment before name come to his mind, “Is that Raisa?”

Tapani knew Boris and Raisa were supporting the remainings of the Ahstad in doomed was against Storhem. He also knew that Jorma was courting Raisa a long time ago. He was broken when Boris won Raisa's hearth. Maybe this was one reason he supported Storhem. It made the scene looking even more ugly.  Tapani looked at Jorma and said, “I remember Raisa as a nice and happy person. Why is she imprisoned like that?”

“She had the wrong side, and you know that,” Jorma answered, “We decided to take her as a slave. But she already killed one of our men.”

Tapani looked at Casia; he was thinking fast. If Raisa was still alive, although she killed one of the villagers, it meant that man was not important, and Jorma desired Raisa too much to allow villagers to kill her. It also told that Jorma went through war searching for Raisa to capture her.
