I love love love this. The style of the story coming through in the fire and having a somewhat ominous tone, the sudden interruption... and there's that sharp contrast of Garnet's reaction to Rose seeing something as opposed to how Steven Quartz Universe saw something and no one believed him. (It also subtly brings to mind the idea that Rose was goofing around in the warp and stuck her head out of it like Steven did when he sneezed which is kind of hilarious in and of itself.) Also I got a little excited about 'Story for Steven' at first because that was the episode Greg told Steven about meeting his mom. I feel like the titles and descriptions of the original show tended to mislead in a cute way that made them even better and I got that feel feel from this week's comic. Perfect.

I had the exact same thought. "Wait, Rose saw them? Does she just... Like sticking her head outside of the warp and enjoy the view? Or was there an "Incoming Robodroid" notice on her Legship that she needed to come up with an excuse for.

I have a question about Steven's "it sounds like you KNOW why she avoids you."... Doesn't Steven know Garnet has future vision? Or there's another meaning?
