(This one was rather sloppy and I elected not to color Earl all the way because it's dark enough as is, but I wanted to ask you guys - is it too dark?? Should I tone it down? It looks fine on my screen, but if it's difficult to read I might change it before the official publication.)

The line "it's not the same" make it sound like she knows the identity of Rose.

It doesn't look too dark, but the holo-writing was kind of difficult to see from the lack of contrast(?) in the colours. (Edit: not too difficult, but it did take a moment)

I hope even after Steven uses the magic water on her, she still uses ASL to speak with just him and connie, to be both 100% petty and because she wont have to speak to them

Kind of Hypocritical of Pearl, seeing as how she hasn't really left her own Diamond.

The way you portray Earl's emotion and body language is just amazing in the last 8 panels. When steven says no more salute, she was confused but she'd do anything for (what she thinks) is her Diamond so she smiled, but then Steven surprised her with the hug and that leads to the sweetest panel in the series! If Steven, later on, does fuse, it would be a crime if it's not with Earl first, even if by accident.
