I know everyone's been frustrated with Tumblr's recent shenanigans, so I'm here to cheer y'all up.

At the current rate, she should be appearing in the comic sometime next (or... next next) week? Provided everything goes according to plan.

Because of this, I have, of course, been sketching her in my free time.


Here's some of the first sketches of her I did. For the sake of the AU, she will be aged up to better match Steven's age.


Because of this, I'm having her hair be short. I feel like it helps her look a little more teenager ish.


She'll also have switched to contacts - I'm sorry if you liked her glasses. But not having to draw them will save me some precious time.


But don't worry, she's still a big nerd.
