Comes a fun new motivational patch!

One day at my National Guard unit I made the drawing at top on the whiteboard. I called it "Squirrel-2" because we're in the "S-2" shop (Intelligence) and of course there's always jokes about "Secret Squirrel" stuff going on. 

And then there's "whisper mode" because of course, we're an Aviation unit and "whisper mode" is sneaky. The Squirrel is in the cockpit of a UH-60 Black Hawk (a Lima-model for those seeking specifics). There actually is a thing called "whisper mode" for real but it doesn't make the helicopter quieter, it just sort of... diffuses the engine noise and makes it harder to determine by sound the direction the helicopter is coming or going. 

I drew the whiteboard idea just as a silly idea one day, and my Officer-In-Charge really liked it. He took a picture and asked if it would be okay if he had it made into a motivational (or "moto") patch. I said sure, and we all chipped in. A few months later this was the result.
