Over The Horizon: Coming Soon (Patreon)

So a quick rundown of what's coming up: 

Tomorrow, Thursday the 25th, there'll be more bits and bobs of the Iriesii Manifest #2 military tables of organization & equipment. It wasn't until I started posting this that I realized, frankly, what an insane amount of detail I went into. Once the information is done (and it will be very soon) I will take a break from that before posting any more Iriesii Manifest stuff. However, the stuff that remains is much more fun, including a short story written by a friend of mine in that setting. It comes with pictures! I did a lot of original art for the story and it was fun.

Friday, the 26th, will see the posting of a new BOHICA Blues comic here on Patreon. It will post publicly on April 1st. The next one for the 10th is a comic where I took a popular Internet meme that's been floating around for awhile and replaced all the characters with my own, including a guest spot by Sergeant-Major of the Army Michael Grinston. Let's hope he has a sense of humor.

Videos: I am enjoying making and sharing the videos! They are fairly quick and easy to make and I provide content in two different ways-- the video itself shows the work in progress and then eventually the comic itself is done too. I have to discipline myself not to give away too much though. Videos are going to become a regular feature here and I will try to do about two a month, although I'll be experimenting with how to contextualize them into my established posting (ie, different topics & subjects, etc).

On Monday the 29th I will post another video but this time I will post it at the "Private" tier so pretty much everyone can see it. I will do that instead of the usual Monday Doodles. This upcoming Video will talk about my use of scripts and layers, and won't reveal any spoilers. 

Tuesday, March 30th will be an original, Patrons-only comic unrelated to BOHICA Blues. Another original Patron-only comic is also being made using an experimental technique so look for that in a video at some point. 

I've got a lot of really old comics from High School being scanned in but it is going to take longer to post them because they are so faded I had to darken the scans, which makes them almost illegible (not that my handwriting was ever any good to begin with). 

A treasure trove of old pencil work has been found, too. It was a concept for an Empires reboot that I toyed with and abandoned a few years ago. I'll post that too, with some insight. It's a great opportunity to show my old traditional workflow, too, so I may actually use some of it in a video. 

BOHICA Blues will continue but I am also getting the machinery started for the Empires reboot, which will feature pencils posted here and possibly some videos as well. 

Short story is: there is a lot of new stuff coming, so stay tuned and stay Random!
