I think 3D animation is definitely the future of what I do, I've been thinking about it more and more lately, I don't have any experience in 3D animation, but I'm always willing to learn, especially these days when the the internet makes learning almost any discipline you want really easy and convenient.

Since i saw Spider-man into the spider verse in 2018, I immediately began to wonder, How was that made? But more importantly, Can I learn how to do that? Obviously creating a piece of content of such magnitude is an unrealistic goal, but for me, when you ask yourself those kinds of questions after watching something for the first time, it's a clear sign that you have been inspired, and that was all I needed.

3D animation has been in the back of my head ever since, but it wasn't until this past weekend, when I finally decided to sit down and watch this highly acclaimed series on Netfilx, Arcane, that things changed, to say that my mind was blown away it's an understatement, I couldn't stop watching, I watched the entire series (or the first and only season so far) I loved everything about it, the art style, the story, the voice acting, and the animation, oh god the animation, what a masterpiece, that's 3D animation done right. If you haven't seen Arcane, I cannot recommend it enough.

Immediately when I finished watching, I felt so dumb for having waited so long to do it, followed by the overwhelming feeling of existential emptiness that remains after having consumed something great, and now it's over and there is nothing else to satisfy that craving for more.

So there I was at 2:00 a.m. sitting on the porch of my house, smoking a cigar, processing what I just saw, when suddenly it hit me like a truck, I went inside the house, turned on the PC, and immediately started looking for 3D animation tutorials, I learned about Blender, Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4D, all these amazing and complicated softwares, I also started looking for Film Making tutorials, and slowly putting together a study program. I haven't felt this way since I opened DAZ Studio for the fist time, I was bitten by the learning bug once again. So basically I didn't sleep last night.

But unfortunately there is a reality that I have to face, right now I can't indulge myself in learning something new from the ground up, I have other responsibilities and priorities, for example my own series like Sora, Red Alert and more, also Collaborations, that even when I'm ridiculously late with those, I planned to deliver each one of them no matter what, I need to finish all my business here before going on an adventure, I'm a little sad, but not too much, because now you and I know for a fact that 3D animation It's the future of Mango3D, and if life gives me enough time, I will make the best animations I can, that's a promise.

Sorry for the half bible I just wrote. =P

Please, buddy, take your time and follow your dreams x3 I respect your wishes to transition to 3D and all I can say is that I'm excited to see where you go with it when you're ready!

The desire to grow and learn is ever present for people, only thing stopping us is fine but don’t feel bad for being open about it friend. I’m sure one day time will be afforded to you to expand and keep the commitments you want with any new desires.

Arcane was such a wonderful series, I can understand why it inspired you so strongly. Its important to follow our dreams whenever we can, so best of luck with all of this!

It happened the same to me with Arcane. Blew my mind. If you can afford it, I think you should focus on what you like most and discard / fliter the rest. Best wishes.

I think your art style would lend itself very well to 3D animation. While you're thinking of modern animation, I'm actually thinking of SOUTH PARK and how much the creators are able to get done with its simple design. It could be worth exploring and experimenting with down the line, especially if that's where your interest lies.

I hope to start studying later this year, but it will take a couple of years before I publish anything, even longer.

I hope to have the time later this year, and if not, I'll have to make that time.

I love South Park, their humor and writing is so good that the simplest animation is more than enough to deliver, but personally, I want the animation itself to be the strongest point of my work.

Thank you very much my friend, you are very kind with your words. Truth is, I just wanted to make the content I wanted to see, and I felt no one was giving to me, that's really it, and I will try do the same with animation, It will take many years of learning and practice, but I'm ready, I hope to start my journey later this year. ;D
