Some Things! (Patreon)

Hello from Massachusetts!

1) I’m having a really nice time visiting family for a few days here on the east coast of Massachusetts. I’m traveling alone with my youngest baby and, aside from a cold that’s keeping him up at night, he’s been sweeter and easier than probably any traveling baby in history. The picture above includes two images from the beautiful Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, the Sagamore Bridge at the entrance of Cape Cod, and historic Plymouth Rock.

2) I recently had the pleasure of communicating with a writer from the Washington Post who’s been working on a new article about ASMR. I’m sure I’ll be sharing the article on social media when it’s published (tomorrow, I believe) so keep an eye out there if you’re interested! I’m on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

3) Weather allowing, I’ll be back in Austin on Friday, so I should be able to get started with the drawing for the giveaway soon after that! I will update you as I go but please be patient—I suspect that mailing assorted small gifts to almost 300 people all over the world will take all of my organizational skills!

4) Since enthusiasm for a Discord was pretty high, I’m leaning toward that strongly! I’m going to take a little more time to familiarize myself with the platform and then we’ll move forward.

5) A favor: Do any of you consider yourselves, like, EXCELLENT at reading contracts? I’m in the process of signing on with what I think is a very promising new ASMR app, but I get terribly anxious about contracts since (I’m a little embarrassed to admit) I have a really difficult time reading them.
