I do like the animated series alot although i definitely take issue with it dropping pretty much all the sature,parody and commentary about the comic industry that was fairly core to the comics

Fun Fact: Bulletproof was Robert Kirkman's original name for the series, before he decided to go with Invincible.

Oh yeah they make puns off themselves being parodys of existing heros like pointing out indirectly viltrumites dont have all of supermans powers or poking fun at current comic cliches
