The penultimate episode of KamiKatsu is here, and I dare say it wasn't as "down bad" as the other episodes, but it was definitely on the darker side this time. I wonder how this season will conclude. Who is ready for Episode 12 next week?

2023-06-30 14:04:11 I suppose it depends. "Yatsu" can mean "dude" or "bastard" depending on context. Given Mitama's personality & all that, I assume it's meant to be the latter in this instance? IDK tho as I've not seen the script these are translated from by the translators Also yeah seems that the governments in the world even pre-apocalypse were making supersoldiers w/ those pseudo-gods AKA Archons. I assume the Emperor just shanghai'd the already existing (excluding the younger ones like Atar & Daki etc, since we know that Daki was generated by the Emperor, and Atar is literally one of the latest units to be spawned, hence her non-specific nature as all the other vital shit have been taken care of by prior units by then) Archons once the world ended (don't ask me how the mf did it tho), using them to boost to maximize the AoE he could handle as far as human population goes (he managed to ensure the security of 1m+ ppl in total, and this doesn't include random ppl surviving elsewhere in the world (we know that there exist micro nations or w/e outside it since Atar specifically mentioned not wanting to use her power within the Empire's borders, which would imply there's an "outside" to the territory borders, implying there's other zones too), which was a pretty big feat IMO all things considered. I wonder what happened to the other dudes, since Loki implied that it wasn't just the Emperor but a "bunch of smart people" who came up w/ this type of system to ensure total extinction can't happen even by accident
