Yeah, this is probably the weakest episode of this series, so far. Idk if the budget is running low or what, but there were some questionable choices made for this episode. I'm happy it returned to the actual plot at the end of the episode, though. I am curios to see what will happen in the S1 finale.

The beginning part of the story is very slow and tedious. The show rushed through 4 volumes of LN content with this one season. Starting volume 5 there’s more content to dive into

Yeah, I just feel some of that was pointless and they wasted resources on that scene. They did multiple still shots of the landscape. Just felt... off.

So far everything shown in the anime has pretty happened the same way in the LN. They’ve only taken out a lot of yuuya’s innermost thoughts on situations but the actual deeds done are pretty faithful to the source

All the landscape shots threw me off this episode. But overall this is a great adaptation. They zoomed through this content. Hopefully they go more in depth starting next season. Wonder how they’ll break it up
