This was a very entertaining episode. It felt more like S1-S2, for me. I'm so happy to see most of the cast back together. This is when Iruma-kun thrives, imo. What did you all think of the episode? Thanks for watching.

Ok now that I see it again. The gesture that Iruma and Lied did before accepting their rank up from Sullivan is really interesting. It was only every described in a chapter that was omitted in S2 like that Devi Mixer chapter that was randomly added here in S3. Agares jumped from Rank1 to Rank3 nice! The wholesome insert song was sang by Clara's voice actor. Yup it's Naruto's voice actress hehe. I think Warb(broadcasting battler 1st yr) and Coco are classmates in class 1-A together with Eiko. Lied is definitely Misfit Class' little bro. Everyone patting him haha. Nice I'm caught up again. You're aight no worries!

Clara's VA got that talent! Oh, if they are classmates, that makes sense. I was thrown off by how informal and intimate the action was. I didn't think they knew each other.

I get what you mean about it feeling more like Iruma. I think the Harvest Festival is both amazing and very necessary for a ton of development (aside from obvious things like dance numbers and flashbacks, I wouldn't actually cut any of it) but it is objectively very, very long. It's also a strange situation that shakes up the status quo, so you're right that there's just a lot of stuff we're used to seeing that doesn't show up here. I was lucky enough that when I started the manga, the arc was already over, so I was able to binge read it and it was phenomenal but I was definitely kind of nervous about how it'd be received in anime form since I knew it'd probably soak up a whole season. I think it'll end up being one of those things where, now that we're through it, people will look at it very fondly in hindsight. The Royal One arc is I think the first time the series feels like there's a lot more to it beyond the comedy and this is the arc that I think just straight up flips the switch to "oh shit this is a really interesting story!"

Yeah, I agree. This will be like the Greed Island arc in HxH for me. I enjoyed it when watching, but not as much as all the other arcs, but I now appreciate why it needed to happen.
