I'm kind of sad I didn't get to cover this last season because I'm really digging this one. It continues to surprise with each episode. Even when I think it's going a certain way, the writing finds a way to surprise. I fail to believe Group C lost, but I love the characterization of Group K's Kei! What did you think of this episode?

If your giving it this high of a review 10 episodes in I’ll give it another shot. I never went past the first 2eps cause it just felt like a squid game clone and nobody was really talking about it

I feel it's more like Among Us than Squid Game. 😉 It's really enjoyable if you're there for the back and forth mind games.

Don’t mean to sound rude, but why is squid game treated like an original? like other shows are copying it now. I find this odd because that genre has already been around for decades. Just noticed the term squid game clone being thrown around now.

It might be from people that are newer to anime or just haven't seen the shows that SG copied. SG takes alot of inspiration from Kaiji but if people never saw Kaiji they wouldn't know. I also think it's due to SG popularity and recency bias.
