This got me so hype for the series, this series was missing substance of direction and a person or group to actually counter moriarty. It just felt like free reign for moriarty. Whats amazing is even without those things, the show was enjoyable from animation to pacing and now its has someone to really mix things up.

Agreed. The inclusion of Holmes as Moriarty's antithesis adds weight and risk to the story now. :)

If you don't know much about Sherlock Holmes, then he was 1) addicted to nicotine and. occasionally, cocaine, 2) a master of bartitsu (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartitsu) and 3) prone to conducting experiments in forensic science even in his own apartment, much to everyone else's consternation.
