I got baited. I was so excited going into this episode and then... no Demon Lord or Kumoko. LMAO! The Hero stuff was cool at least.

A lot of fans complain about the hero side, but IMO, they should've kept more of the novel material for Shun and make it more in-depth. The reason it feels less interesting is because the anime removed a lot of his development from the early stages of the story.. We actually see why he is protective of Sue and admires Julius.

Personnally, I like that kind of episodes only about Shun. They're more focused on worldbuilding and story, then Kumoko's episodes are mostly about killing monsters and humor (even if Kumoko is my second favorite character in the show after the Demon Lord). Reading Kumoko's stuff in the Light Novel was not very interesting after watching her doing the same stuff in the anime. BUT, as the anime skipped so much content from Shun's Side (actually both sides have many cuts, but Shun's story is more impactful), I kinda prefere Shun's part of the story ^^
