What an amazing episode. Tensions are high, but looks like Kirito will be making his return soon. PoH's backstory was cool to see too. Definitely can see why he is doing what he does, but he definitely is nuts. XD How about those anime original scenes too?! Epic!

Like you mentioned, the Scenes with Eiji and Yuna could be seen as Anime Original Scenes, but dont forget that the Author Kawahara Reki reconized and included Ordinal Scale as Part of the Canon Main Story. But since they released the Movie in January 2017, and the Alicization Main Story Part was already finished in the Light Novels ( Volume 18 which finished the Main Part of that Arc released in August 2016 in Japan, so the Author couldnt change anything afterwards. So he instead decided to include the Varius Things that the New Ordinal Scale Arc brought with it in the Anime Adaption as Official Part of the Story ( Like the Augmas, Asunas Ring, Eijis and Yuna in this FIght etc)

Btw, About Yuna, since the Author accepted and integrated Ordinal Scale, he also created at least 2 Extra Side Storys, one based on the Movie itself with more Details like Yuunas and Eijis Background and another one, that played after the Movie, the Extra Side Story that is called Cordial Chords, which explained how the other Yuna AI ( the one with Black Clothes) was " Rescued": Following the end of the Ordinal Scale incident at the New National Stadium, YUNA's management rights were ceded to Ario Room and Kamura. The new management created at least five copies of YUNA to be able to have multiple instances of her working concurrently. However, as YUNA was created based on Sword Art Online's artificial intelligence, the foundational principle of which is the uniqueness of each individual AI, the mere existence of copies resulted in the original YUNA accumulating errors in her programming, threatening her continued existence. What remained of White Yuuna's AI (That was the Yuuna who helped Kirito finding Hints, protected them in the Stadion and unlocked the FullDive Function on the Augma) module attempted to halt YUNA's further decay by performing some error corrections using her own data; however, the White Yuuna module lacked a crucial memory core that represented YUNA's most precious memory, which was required to fully stabilise YUNA. As such, one of the two Yuunas managed to send a plea for help to Kirigaya Kazuto on May 7, 2026 through a YUNA desktop mascot application created by the idol's new management. The plea for help resulted in bringing Kirito and Nautilus (Eiji) to the Sword Art Online server at Argus's headquarters, where a collapsing YUNA was found by the two boys at a field dungeon on the 40th Floor of Aincrad inside the server, the exact place where the original Yuna had died in the original Sword Art Online. By obtaining the bottle of candy that the original Yuuna had left to Nautilus before her death, White Yuna was able to use it to fully repair YUNA, before fully vanishing from the world.

Yuuna went to the same kindergarten, elementary school, and middle school as Nochizawa Eiji, but then moved to an all-girls high school. During her high school years, Yuuna accepted Eiji's invitation to play Sword Art Online with him, showing interest in the musical skills present in Sword Art Online. Yuunas End in SAO: On October 18, 2023, as Nautilus had not been responding to her messages for a couple of days, Yuna found him wearing a disguise in Jaileum in a poor attempt to be unrecognised. Realising that Nautilus had not been allowed to the boss battle based on his appearance, she suggested going for a meal at a restaurant at town. At the restaurant, as they were talking about Yuna's desire to join the Clearers, they suddenly heard another player asking for help. Upon the player revealing that his party members were trapped in a field dungeon, a rescue party was formed, with Yuna, filled with resolution, deciding to join it. At the field dungeon on Floor 40, the group found the endangered party members in a cell with infinitely respawning monsters attacking them, and the dungeon boss, the Feral Warder Chief, guarding the lever to open the cell. As activating the lever would require the players to come within the boss's range, thus causing it to engage them, while it was unlikely to get the entire group out of the room safely before the doors closed again, it was proposed to defeat the boss instead of retreating. While the other players wavered on the course of action, Yuna had the endangered players come close to the door to sing a song that would heal them. Yuna's song gave the players the strength to execute the plan, and thus the boss battle began. During the battle, Yuna helped attack the boss from the sides while the highest-leveled players kept the attention of the boss on themselves. Although the battle proceeded smoothly for the next eight minutes, when the boss's Hit Point gauge was lowered to the red zone of its last bar, about fifteen extra minions descended on the boss room from holes in the walls, while the boss executed an usual area of effect attack during the distraction. Thus, the majority of players engaging the boss suffered paralysis, while the players engaging the minions were soon overwhelmed. At that moment, Yuna, the only unparalysed damage dealer, sung a special song that drew the attention of all the minions onto her. By running around the room with the minions in pursuit, Yuna was able to give the others enough time to defeat the boss, but was killed by the minions the moment the boss was vanquished.
