What's up, everyone? Hope you're all staying safe during these crazy times. We have been doing well with keeping up with content as the new season of anime has started and Patreon-voted series are moving along. Black Lagoon will start as soon as Jormungand S1 is complete and we might do Jormungand S2 simultaneously with Black Lagoon S1. 

I do want to ask a question though. I always get this itch once in awhile and with Bleach getting its final arc animated in 2021...I'm getting the itch once again. You know the Big 3, right? Well, I already have seen Naruto, but One Piece is a series I have watched/read, left, and returned then left again. I have been spoiled on a good portion of the story. Pretty much know a certain blonde character returns, someone very important dies during a war at Marine Ford...things like that. The good news is I haven't really been spoiled on anything after the time skip besides the blonde haired characters return and maybe some minor details.

My point is that I kind of want to revisit One Piece and if I do...I am thinking about making it Patreon only for a few reasons. One of those reasons is Toei Animation being pretty aggressive on Youtube with its CR bots. Another reason is, and I feel this might come off wrong but I am going for it....I feel the Patreon needs a bit more of a draw to bring in new peeps. I put a decent amount of time toward the content and I want to start doing other activities too, but would like the Patreon to grow since Youtube's ad revenue is so poor. 

I want to say I appreciate every single person who has pledged to this Patreon, past and present, so thank you for your support. Now, with that in mind, it doesn't have to be One Piece for sure. Maybe there is another popular series I haven't seen, would enjoy, and could do here as a Patreon exclusive. I would love to hear what you all have to say about this idea and feel free to pitch any ideas, suggestions, concerns, etc. Thanks everyone! 

PS. I want to do Live Lets Reads over on my Twitch.tv channel. I was thinking Solo Leveling, but I am worried it will get adapted and then what would be the point to reacting to it? Any thoughts?

As someone whose caught up on One Piece I’d say there are so many things to still look forward to, I guess it depends on where you start. And One Piece fans can sometimes be EXTRAAAA TOXIC so demanding things all the time. I’d tread carefully, but would LOVE to see you react to it, even with the things you’ve gotten spoiled to. Just my two cents. Even though Bleach would be a very close second, especially with them bringing it back next year.

I might have worded that wrong, Barre. I've seen Bleach. I stopped in the Full Bringer arc of the anime and jumped into the manga. Read some of the last arc, so super excited for the new anime in 2021!

Sounds like quite the solid idea. One Piece certainly has the iconic status and length to warrant a ongoing watch, and the Patreon exclusivity does make sense not only due to the CR concerns but it's a good nostalgic anime for many people. Also that Pirate Warriors 4 came out not too long ago so I'd say the interest for those players is at a good level right now. I too am in the boat where I know some plot, characters etc, yet never stayed consistent or up to date with OP, so there is extra interest in revisiting especially through your reactions.

I'm not a huge fan of One Piece, but doing a patreon only anime could be a nice idea. Solo Leveling is great, but it might get an adaptation if Tower Of God performs well and opens the way for manhwas.

Watch One Piece man it’s worth it. Even knowing major spoilers there’s still big things you may not know and also knowing and experiencing it are very different. I highly recommend it

Okay, i Have to say 3 things 1. Might want to watch OnePace version, it can get really slow paced in some of the arcs after the timeskip, I love One Piece but it got really bad 2. One Piece reactions have become so common, that its getting kind of annoying, what about something uncommon and is also popular? 3. I'm excited you are going to do some patreon exclusive. Some recommendations I have(in my reply to his comment)

1. Twin Star exorcists (loving this anime so far but its seems so are to see reactions) 2. Madoka Magica (Is reacted to often from what i've seen but is a must see imo) 3. Food Wars( very fun anime, ecchi though, not really sure how you feel about that though) 4. Darwin's Game(Personal choice)

One piece reactions are pretty common nowadays. In my opinion, I would rather have multiple reactions to shorter shows than one reaction series that goes for literal years.

Good points. We started Solo Leveling. I'll still watch it and just do commentary from a reader viewpoint.

True true. Maybe I'll start it up again, make it exclusive here, and just do it when I have time. It could be a day a week to every other week or so. Who knows.
