Eyepatch Thorkell's even more of a Best Girl now, certainly meshes well with their outfit and weapons, sorta completes the look tbh~

Tension's so damn thick from all these political developments, not even a .50 cal sniper rifle bullet could pierce it... and so the plot thickens while the thickens plots! Love me some well executed tense atmospheres!

Count yourself /incredibly/ lucky, Thorfinn, as you've never dealt with an /unbelievably/ angry Askeladd whose sole desire is to channel that rage into whoever's badmouthing his mother, which just so happens to be the Danish King currently... And you know the rage is real when you're generating heat & an aura around yourself as you hold it all in... damn, Askeladd was scary!

Let's think back several weeks/episodes ago when Askeladd mentioned his burning hatred for the Danes, for the Vikings, and even for his own men that accumulated over the course of a decade or so... and yet, despite his "feelings" towards his men, THE PIRATE ASKELADD /willingly/ gave Atli a gold bracelet & wished him well, as well as making him promise to never pick up a sword again... that's not how you normally act towards someone you despise... no, the man did care deeply about his men and that showed with that ending scene... I can't even begin to explain how much I love Askeladd as a character, he's honestly so well-written that it's friggin' breathtaking... #LongLiveAskeladd!
