i think it was stated in the Manga, but the " Mother Demon " was almost a Child for herself, when she became the Role of the Mother of Ruis Fake Family. She was the almost Youngest of them all. It was later revealed that compared to the rest of her "Family" she was technically the youngest demon of the family and was still copping with her previous human feelings and memories causing her to cry and grieve many times when remembering them, due to this she became a target of severe reprimand from Rui, due to her inability to be a proper "Mother" to her "Children",who were all technically older than her. The 11th Form... i think that Giyu created it himself, because Urokodaki, as a Former Hashira and Master of the Water Breathing Technic, only teaches 10 Water Breathing Forms.

My assumption, but based on the "intellect taken" comment from the older sister, it might seem like that "Father" was an example of it, as he said very few words and just rampaged around in all the scenes he's been in... at least, he's not been intellectual enough to converse with others lol

I'm actually fine with Tanjiro not getting the kill, it would be horrible writing if the first REAL Kizuki we get to see got bodied by a recruit. They've been hyped up to be this series' Espada, with the higher ranking Upper Moons said to be able to kill Pillar's with ease. If Tanjiro actually killed Rui, the bar would be set disappointingly low for the rest of them (imo).
