Araki should have either made part 5 the last OG Universe part, or had Jolyne have GER, not Giorno. He kinda wrote himself into a corner.

That's why Part 7 and 8 have nothing to do with JoJo. Araki wrote himself into a corner with GER. So I guess technically part 7 and 8 aren't really jojo since they're so radically different. No spoilers.

This was an OK episode. Cool to finally see GER, but I feel like it wasn't as hype as it could have been. Also I'm intrigued/confused by their decision to have a small break and then an hour long ep. Should be interesting!
