Anriku's Reaction to Sword Art Online Alicization Episode 7!

So this SAO adaptation's not perfect, there was a mini-arc cutout that took place during the 2 year timeskip, but it was more shortened super quickly and thrown into Eugeo's flashback. Major notes about it are: Swordfighting Tournament & Farmboy Mini-Arc was a total of 90 pages in the LN, so it was fairly shortened to fit within Eugeo's flashback, and the only major cut was a certain character's introduction.

Uptight Formal Eugeo & Laidback/Casual Kirito make for quite the fun MC duo~ XD

Of course you nailed it right on the head! System Control Authority = Mana/Intelligence Level (Sacred Arts Control Ability) Durability = Health Object Control Authority = Strength/Physical Level (Wielding Weapons, etc)

So I mentioned several episodes back that "emotions" themselves are much more prevalent to the plot and world of SAO S3, and that makes up the system known by many names, but the most common I've heard is the "incarnation system" where "emotions, confidence, ego, a strong mental image itself" can amplify/multiply your strength tenfold. And the "incarnation system" was an actual concept that existed before Rath & The Underworld, it's believed to have been first seen (series wise) back when Kirito's emotions overpowered Aincrad temporarily as he was on the verge of death, allowing him a brief window of movement to stab Kayaba Akihiko and defeat SAO itself. And on the flip side, if you have a negative headspace, the "incarnation system" will respond by reducing/dampening your actual strength with the weapon temporarily, so it's possible to be the world's strongest but if you don't have the confidence when fighting, you could be far weaker and lose the battle.

One last factoid comment, sorry! XD So ya know how Kirito can dual wield swords? Okay well, that's not likely to happen often, if at all, because it's so deeply ingrained in Kirito's memory as part of the SAO incident, a major source of trauma for him. If anything, it's the major connection to his SAO persona, the Black Swordsman, and Kirito dislikes that nickname and persona so much, it's part of the reason he often doesn't dual wield. He doesn't want to relive most of those traumatic days, and it's very hard to disassociate dual wielding from those memories, but it's been a gradual development where he's slowly gotten a little more comfortable with the idea. Hence the "Skill Connect" where it's chaining Sword Skills, not really dual wielding, and that's why Kirito's willing to use that technique. If the game's absolutely life-or-death for himself, or other people, he might make an exception to use Dual Wielding, but that doesn't mean he enjoys it or his past SAO personality. So in a way, Kirito's trying to reject/move on from his SAO past. And you're fine with wanting him to Dual Wield, a lot of people, but I'm making this comment so ya understand it's not entirely a "black or white" situation, a "Come on, why won't you dual wield?!" moment when it comes to his character. Lol
