What if Norman said to Ray that he would tell Dan the rope is under the bed, but instead he told Dan the rope is somewhere else. If the rope under the bed is gone then it can't be Dan because he tought the rope was somewhere else, so it can only be Ray who wanted to accuse Dan by taking away the rope under the bed to throw the others on a wrong path. I think both Ray and Norman are very clever but Norman is more of a tactitian who plan ahead and take one's psychology into account while Ray is a quick thinker who can come up with a plan on the moment.

I'll talk about it in my review, but I don't think Ray is the traitor. I think this is a ruse from Don and Mom.

What If Norman never told Don anything and only let Ray believe that he did. That would mean Ray knew both of the hiding spots and wanted to deflect on suspicion of him.
