R.I.P. HDD (Patreon)

I've been telling myself to make a backup of my 4 hard disk drives for years now, but of course it landed on my 'to do someday'-list.. 

And now it's too late, one of them has finally gave up on me.. 

And not just a random unimportant one, oh no.. 👁👄👁

It had to be the one with all my old scanned pictures, old school files, all my music, and of course all my custom game content projects I've ever made in the past.. 15 years? Including Cities: Skylines, Two Point Hospital, Skyrim, Sims 2, Sims 3 and of course Sims 4.. So I'm kinda bummed out to say the least 🤐 Luckily I can download most of my own stuff uploaded on TSR and Patreon but I lost all the original files so making adjustments to them will be limited. 

I'm more bummed out for all the 'on hold' projects, I had tons of unpublished unfinished CC which are completely vanished now, there is no way to get those back (my castle bunk bed, damnit!).  🤦‍♀️

Oh well, let this be a lesson to kick that 'make a darn backup' plan to the top of the to do list, together with a whole new computer who is also more sputtering every day.. 😅 

Now what?

I was considering re-making the latest project (see most recent patrons only post) but I'm gonna leave that for now, I wasn't very over the moon of the design anyway. So I'm gonna make something different for the monthly poll. If I manage to recover my files after all I will finish the other project as well... And make 500 backups..
