The results of the writing contest:

Preamble - this contest was genuinely difficult to judge, since all submissions were so different that I couldn't properly gauge them. Judging between two complete full length stories, one unfinished major saga and short but very polished story was much harder than it sounds. Being honest, I did resolve the contest judging partially by the vibes of the stories. They all had their strenghts and weaknesses, and I have honestly struggled with choice of the victors. Without further ado, let's announce the winners!

1st place - EMann1984 with "Tomo-chan has a mirror" - https://www.deviantart.com/emann1984/art/Tomo-chan-has-a-Mirror-1029719756

The shortest, the least prompt focused but the most polished out of the stories in the contest. I know that this choice might be a little controversial, but I do believe that quality wise it's one of the top tier contenders. It's a genuinely good story that was catapulted onto first place by the virtue of being the attention to the details. Not to mention having highest concentration of elements that appeal to me personally. It was a close victory but a well deserved one.

2nd place - TommiesTome with "Coffee, deadlines and wide waistlines" - https://www.deviantart.com/tommiestome/art/Coffee-deadlines-and-wide-waistlines-1026307928

The best of his two submissions and one of the best submissions in the whole contest. Honestly, it's hard to say more. It's a great story that encapsulates the ideas of the contest almost perfectly. The fight for the first place was a close one, coming down to judging the smallest nit-picks about the two top contenders.

3rd place - epiclytitan with Boar Martet (not yet finished)

How does one judge the work that's the most extensive yet also the most unfinished of all submissions? Honestly, it was hard to place it in a fair way. Still, congratulations on the place on the podium!
