Wednesday has come once again and with it, a new playbook preview.

The Monster Hunter doesn't have the great and terrible hand of death protecting them. There's nothing special about them at all, really, except that they're willing to march off into the hungry teeth of the endless night and try to break off a few. Maybe make arrowheads out of them, so everyone else can scrape out one more day.

The Monster Hunter brings a lot of utility to play. Its basic playbook features emphasize the "hustle to survive, survive to overcome" aspect of the setting. If it survives its first few hunts and gets a few Gambits under its belt, The Monster Hunter can accumulate some extremely useful group-tactics tools not seen in other, more stand-alone style playbooks.

I like them. Very "scrappy underdog" but they look like they'll accumulate a very nice bag of tricks after some successful hunts with Craftsman and Corpse Scavenger and with the defense bonus they might survive to manage that.

If you like crafting monster bits and playing with trinkets you scrounge up during play, Monster Hunter is definitely the playbook for you.
