Field Notes: Dandelions (Patreon)

Hey Deep Peeps,

You’ve probably seen this flower before. It’s a dandelion, right? Well, actually it’s a close relative called the common catsear. While gardeners dislike dandelions and their relatives, pollinators like bees like to feast on their nectar and pollen. 

Deep Look producer Gabriela Quirós has lots of catsears and dandelions growing in her backyard, which was a perfect place for fellow producer and cinematographer Josh Cassidy to film on his own due to the ongoing coronavirus restrictions.
