Updates to Our Goals and Rewards, PLUS a thank you gift (Patreon)

🔧 We're moving into the new year by tweaking our rewards tiers & goals next week, so we wanted to give you some advance notice. 

🎁 AND for all you loyal patrons who have been with us from the start, we have a special gift for you. Read on...

Rewards Changes

• We want to talk to more of you, and do so more regularly.  So live streams are officially opening up from $10/month to all Patrons, $2/month and up. And the streams will be more…. shall we say… regular. We're aiming for monthly or close to it. 
• We are also expanding our Early Access to Episodes benefit. It was at $10/month, now it will be available at the $5/month level. 
• At $10 we're trying a new benefit! You'll get a written shout out in the description for each episode you have supported. (We are usually producing about 2 months ahead, so we'll reach out to you to let you know which episode will have your name). Plus, you will get a personal email from a member of the Deep Look team.
• At $25 per month, you'll now be recognized by your Patron name in the video credits for each episode you have supported. :-)  
• So. Given our production schedule, exclusive monthly blog posts and how-tos for $25 per month were really hard to do. So we're retiring that benefit and doubling down on more frequent behind-the-scenes posts as part of our normal feed. Of which we did 14 in the short time since we launched our Patreon campaign.  
• $50 per month - at this level, patrons will now receive a limited edition Deep Look T-shirt and a handwritten note from the Deep Look team as well.

Overall, these changes are intended to give you more of what's working, and for us share it with more people. :-)

New and Improved Goals

Yes, we have big dreams! But we realize now we can be clearer. So we've simplified our goals and made them all about the content. Please consider upgrading your level of contribution so we can do these incredible things together soon! 

• $2,000 / month - Deep Look Goes to Mexico – If we can reach this goal, Deep Look will travel to Mexico and produce episodes about some of the unusual things that live there. Like the bizarre cochineal bug, Dactylopius coccus, which exudes a brilliant scarlet red acid. Or maybe Heloderma horridum, the venomous Mexican beaded lizard. And you will help us decide! :->
• $5,000 / month - A BONUS Deep Look Episode – At this level, you will unlock the team’s ability to create an extra episode each year.  Plus, you’ll get to help choose which extra episode we’ll produce!
• $10,000 / month - Two BONUS Deep Look Episodes – At this level, we can bring you two extra episodes. That means you’ll be able to watch Deep Look all year around without any big breaks!
