Hi Deep Look Fans! You're invited to watch our very first livestream on Tuesday, August 14th, 4pm (PT) featuring members of the production team! But in order to submit questions to us during our livestream, you have to become a Deep Look Patron. Don't worry, there's still plenty of time to join. 😊

We have a lot planned, so we'll be discussing our favorite episodes, upcoming stories, and of course, answering some of your questions. [Poll Closed - thanks!] Patrons can *also* leave questions in the comments as well.

Always curious to see how other science filmmakers make it work. In the old days where it was JUST TV, the pitching of a show to the networks seemed pretty clear. I'm curious who pitched the show and how does PBS evaluate the success of their shows? Is it based on return on investment, number of views, user engagement, or just the decisions of a few people higher up at PBS? Also, would be fun to meet up if some of you are going to Boston this September. :) - R

Hi there - these are great questions, we will do our best to touch upon our pitching and editorial process, but if we don't we can follow up with you afterwards. As far as Boston... we are looking hard at our budget this week to see if we can swing it. We'd love to be there in person!
