Hey Deep Peeps! We are hitting the radio waves on KQED’s Forum program on Monday, Aug. 5 at 9am on 88.5FM to talk about how we make Deep Look! If you don’t live in the San Francisco Bay Area, you can live stream the program from the link above or go to kqed.org/forum.   

Gabriela Quirós, Deep Look’s supervising producer, and Josh Cassidy, our lead producer and cinematographer, will be in conversation with Deep Look host Laura Klivans.

They’ll be joined by biologist Sarah Cohen, of San Francisco State University and naturalist Damon Tighe — two experts we’ve worked with to film numerous Deep Look episodes. Josh worked with Sarah Cohen’s lab on our recent six-rayed sea star episode, and Damon was instrumental in helping us film our cage fungus episode, to name a few.
