April turned out to be a very successful month for Spellbound! New faces. New supporters! Welcome! I also took a few days off to recharge my batteries and let the new month begin a new drawing cycle.

Let's start with the current projects in the works

First, The Spellbound Short Comic, Den Mother will see pages 5 and 6 this week. I've attached a rough sketch as a sneak peek. After which, Devout will be the main focus for the rest of the month. I've been concepting a little wardrobe change for FemJohn and am formulating the dramatic reveal for the last part of this Devout story. That will have a target release of the weekend of the 20th.

The May Illustration Poll will get a LOT of voting options this month. Some old sketches are starting to pile up, and I would like to work on some of them to decompress from other projects. I'll also add and sketch more monster girls for our poll. I had fun sketching out a playful sphinx character this week. And if you guys would like more of that stuff, let me know! The poll will be up by the end of the week!

On to some more housekeeping and FYIs

Some of you have mentioned that IMGUR.com is changing its website and will soon purge NSFW content from its database. IMGUR has been the easiest way to read and support Spellbound comics for the last few years. It's unfortunate and inconvenient for us NSFW enthusiasts. There are alternatives. The Spellbound patreon home page has an "Archive" tag at the top. If you have the proper access, there should be a link to the MEGA Spellbound Comic Archive, where I upload the latest pages. I update and make edits there as needed.

Along with the live posts of the new pages, this is the best way to read the comics. Patreon needs to make it easier to read an ongoing comic. And that's why I need to get my shit together and start my website—one where I'm not beholding to internet overlords who change the rules whenever they want. So, I'll be working with some web designers this month to formulate a plan of attack. We want to be able to read our smut without interruptions!

The last thing I'd like to address is a leak a few weeks ago. I want to remind you all that I encourage you to share my art where ever you like. But please refrain from sharing the latest full comic pages exclusive on patreon. I upload the comic for free in my own time to the public, and you wonderful patrons get to enjoy the newest work I do before anyone else, and that's how I can work on my art every day with your support.
