April Content Schedule (Patreon)

Happy April, my friends. I hope you are all doing well! 

Before getting into our roadmap for the month, I must address an issue affecting my work.

I typically avoid discussing my personal problems on the internet and prevent oversharing, as I find it annoying when other artists vent or use their social media as a therapy session. I try to focus on my art and share progress updates. But my progress has been consistently affected lately, and you all disserve to know why. For the last six months or so, I've been dealing with a festering familial turmoil I wasn't expecting would impact me as much as it has. Without getting into the dramatic specifics, lines are being drawn, and sides are being taken that may cause more than one divorce, in which case financial issues will inevitably arise. That pressure falls on me to help mend. These are all pending crises at the moment, and I'm trying to talk some people off cliffs, but that's the vague and cryptic real-life issues I'm currently dealing with. As such, my creative oils are stressed, and I haven't been given the proper love these months.

With all that said, that doesn't mean I haven't been cooking up some good shit! It just means it's been delayed, lol. The March Devout pages are some of my most ambitious comic pages in art and drama. Scene setting with getting my visuals right, lore dumps on how "demon possessions" work, and character drama and word flow. Check out the WIPS above! If only line work was faster. Anyway, I'm aiming for the weekend of the 8th of April for the following 5 Devout pages!

Expect the April illustration poll to go live before the 7th of April. And I will work on our Den Mother short this week as well. I've posted a WIP of what to expect from that.

As for the rest of the month? After next weekend it's on to the following Devout pages! The story continues! We're reaching the climax of Devout chapter 2 soon!

Finally, I'll work on some commission work when I need a break from everything else! I couldn't get the extra doodles of Cameron done that I wished, but I have made progress on the Silver Shadow Lore document I'm putting together for the Matriarch patrons.
