Bonus and Super fan Tier Changes + New Tier (Patreon)

Hello! With this month, I will be making some changes to how my Patreon functions on a few specific Tiers. And in the near future, I will also be adding a whole new tier. Chances are, if the changes are effecting you, you probably already know about them. But for the sake of making sure everybody is aware, I will cover the changes here in this post.

I won't go too in depth into the reasoning behind these changes, since that would just be a waste of time for anyone reading. But to sum up, now that I have more experience as an artist, I am more in touch with what I am, and am not, capable of. And now that I better understand that, I am making some changes to certain tiers, to make sure that my workload is more evenly distributed across all of my projects and all of my tiers, rather than spending too much time focussing on a select few, and neglecting others.

So with that being said, here are the changes:

Super Fan Tier Changes:

Up until now, the SF Tier has given access to a Free Monthly, 2 person, Full Colour Commission. From now on, that will be changed into a Simple-Colour Commission instead. This is a 33% Discount on what the same commission would be if you had done it without being on the tier. And as always, will be guaranteed monthly, regardless of my overall commission status. This change has already been discussed with, and approved by, everyone already on the tier, so this will not come as a surprise to any of them, just for the record.

Bonus Tier Changes:

The change to this tier is similar to the SF Tier. Up until now, this tier (And above) has given access to suggesting and voting on the Monthly OneShot, which was a 5-panel, Full-Colour comic page. The Process of designing and voting on the page will remain the same. However from now on, instead of full colour, you will instead be given a choice between simple colour, or a Manga-Style Page. This will allow me to draw them much faster. And also, I can focus on actually making them good, and appealing, rather than just trying to rush to get them finished on time due to a more complicated style.

New Tier

This new Tier is going to be essentially replacing, and upgrading, what the original Super-Fan Tier was. The Original SF Tier gave access to a free monthly Full Colour commission, featuring up to 2 characters. This new, currently unnamed Tier, will give access to a Monthly Full Colour commission. However it will not have the same set limitations as the SF tier did. Instead, it will be more of a soft-limitation. If you want to go for a more simple picture (eg, 2 person, full colour), then it will just be the monthly charge of the tier, and that is it. However, you will have the option to get more. Alternate versions, more characters, maybe even multiple pictures. However they will cost an additional charge on top of the base cost of the tier. So instead of being a solid "You have to get exactly this" sort of tier, it instead gives more freedom to get whatever you want, but with those additions being cheaper than what they would have been, had you gotten the commission without being on the tier.

These 3 changes, I am hoping, will speed up my drawing process for these particular patreon rewards, without sacrificing the quality too much, and allow me to more evenly distribute my attention and effort across all of my projects, rather than just having to focus on some of them. As of posting this, the changes to the existing tiers will be in effect. The new Tier, however, will still be a little time. I still need to figure out some details and such. But I intend to have it as an available option by next month at the latest.
