Hey super sorry guys, honestly thought I had already uploaded this days ago but obviously not. Somehow this movie managed to have everything!!! I had an absolute ball watching Snow attempt to destroy Katniss at every turn. I am very hyped to watch the next film in this franchise after the cliff-hanger this movie left us on Enjoy :)

Sorry in advance for the long comment, but Katniss and Peeta just makes my heart go 💓 Though its been awhile since I’ve read Catching Fire, but from what I gather is the reason why Katniss was so determined to save Peeta from the Reaping and the Arena (before she fully realized she also has feelings for him) is that she sees him as a truly good and kind person. She sees him as more deserving to live. In the first HG book she also explains that because Peeta saved her and her family with the bread when they were starving (they hadn’t had anything but mint leaves in water for 3 days. And because of Peeta burning the bread, he also gets beat by his mother and gets a black eye because of it) she feels very indebted to him. She also explains that his action helped her see hope for the first time since her dad died, and gave her the determination to start going out hunting to feed her family. Katniss also doesn’t want to be the symbol of the revolution so she doesn’t sees that as a reason for herself to survive the games. Thanks for the great reaction!

I was going to say the same thing as Sofia W. Katniss is not saying that Peeta should survive because he would be better for the rebels but because out of Haymitch, Peeta and herself, she believes he is the best of them and needs to carry on. It’s been a while since I’ve seen this movie and I forgot how much I ship Katniss and Peeta. The way they look out for each other during the games, genuine emotion from Katniss and the way she worried about him. I also really like the twist and remembering being confused for a moment reading the book and I really liked learning about the allies and that they had their own mission.
