I was not expecting this film to have so many wacky moments that genuinely made me puzzled. I had a ball with these movies and it was incredible to see Jack get a satisfying conclusion to his character arc. Enjoy :)

There was some forshadowing of Tia Dalma being Calypso in Dead Man's Chest. When the crew is at her hut there is a necklace on the table when Jack is stealing a ring. The picture on the necklace is the same image on the music box on Davy Jones's pipe organ. Furthermore, when Tia tells the tale of how Davy Jones fell in love with a woman, Gibbs says that he heard a different version of the tale in which Jones fell in love with the sea. She then says that they are two versions of the same story and both are true. Keith Richards was actually set to appear in Dead Man's Chest but had to pull out due to his commitment with the band's tour. Fun fact: The sword Davy Jones stabs Will with is the sword Will made for James Norrington in Curse of the Black Pearl. Speaking of, James is such an underrated character. He was complex but a good man and he genuinely loved Elizabeth. I recommend watching 4 and 5 to find out for yourself if you like them or not. Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are unfortunately not in them but I personally enjoy both. One of the main characters in 5 is Will and Elizabeth's son.
