I thought the entire setup of this guy who had just caught his big break dying super interesting! The movie left me feeling very much appreciative of life and grateful for the good things I have. Enjoy :)

The scene with 22 in the Astral Plane about to become a “lost” soul is honestly really powerful. Ugh, this whole movie is incredible.

This is one of my favourite films by Pixar - it gets me Every. Single. Time. And I’m crying like a baby by the end. The music is incredible throughout and adds so much to this wonderful story and overall concept

Regarding that Disney/Pixar opening--I played in Orchestra all through high school, and I have to say it is so hilarious to think of a room full of professional musicians just intentionally butchering the life out of that intro music 😂 I bet that was a fun day. Soul irrevocably changed me!! Just the perfect message for anyone struggling with life's meaning, and for me the biggest (most healing) takeaway is this idea of always treating the "little things" in life like they're big things. Because they are! We can't help that we're on autopilot most of the time, but when you stop and think that wow, to just exist and savor that bite of food, to look at a sunset... all of it is just magical. And that talk with the barber means so much to me because coincidentally I also wanted to be a veterinarian for years before having a career/identity struggle. But that line: "I may not have invented blood transfusions, but I am most definitely saving lives." Man, that just hits me some sort of way. Maybe my favorite quote in the movie *A movie that falls pretty under the radar, but I think you'd have a great reaction to it is Disney's Dinosaur. :) Exciting, great visuals that really hold up, and the score is fantastic

Wow, how did I never see this movie before?! This was perfect timing though, I think I needed a reminder of this lesson. I had tears in my eyes by the end. I think my favourite scene would have to be same, it was just so well done, such beautiful music, perfectly set up and I could just feel every single of these seemingly mundane experiences so vividly :)

Yes, yes yes yes!! I just watched this for the first time recently, and as a musician who spent a good chunk of years wandering the US, just seeing what life had to offer, this movie resonated with me HARD, possibly more than any other Pixar movie (though Inside Out would be a contender). This movie has a really cool vision of the afterlife and an incredible message about what it means to be alive.

I never thought I'd cry for an entire movie, but this one really broke me. I've only seen it once so far and now I'm going to watch it with you and hope it won't be quite as bad this time...

Hey, Oscar, how'd you get so insightful at such an early age?
