Poll on the next character (Patreon)

When I started writing SoM two years ago, it wasn't meant to be an erotic game. In the second campaign, you'll be playing a new character, and although it's still some time before we get to the second campaign, that character will make an appearance in the next update.

Initially this character was supposed to be a man, but the fact that up until now you've been playing a woman, coupled with the fact that SoM is now an erotic game, makes me wonder whether this might make some people uncomfortable.

Personally, even though I tend to prefer playing women, I'm comfortable with both, but that's not necessarily the case for everyone, so I thought I'd ask you what you think.

On the one hand, I prefer to write with a female PoV, and on the other, the character was originally written as a man and carried a few gender stereotypes, so it might not fit as well as a woman. That said, I still have time to adapt a little before it really matters.

Also note that the second campaign will be by far the shortest of the 3, so it might not be that important, but I thought it was worth asking your opinion.

There's also a scene at the start of the second campaign where changing gender is entirely possible, so there's that option too.
