I know you said tifa, or lara and so. but I think that there's already some good lara and tifa models out there on smutba.se so I chose Mistral from metal gear rising. Mostly because she has little textures and I can show you how work with the minimum resources. plus the arms are gonna be a good example to add bones to a model and how to deal with boring parts (Rigging all 14 extra arms for example)

I've recorded the first part today. Will review it, cut, speed up some process, re-narrate some parts (my english is a bit rusty and got stuck at some parts xD) add it subtitles and upload it the next 2 days.

Tutorial covers:
.- Where to get blender (Website installer/zip file or steam)
.- Blender basics (basically I tell you to do blenderguru's donought tutorial)
.- I explain how to import MMD, SFM and Xnalara models (will add tomorrow Daz studio and other formats like obj and fbx)
.- I explain how to remake the materials based on whatever textures the model have. And how to get the most out of them plus some tricks to make the material a bit fancier
.- How to set up a basic 3 light setup for previewing the model
.- How to sepparate the mesh (usually some parts need to be)
.- How to optimice the model for future use (converting the model to quads and remooving doubles)

Right now I have arround 2 hours of raw footage I have to edit and improove plus process the audio a bit to cut the mechanical keyboard tick tack from the background xD
