Supper dupper awesome future plans? (Patreon)

Well guys. it looks like i'm gonna have to rig another awesome model by RyanReos (the guys that made the Succubus model from my last anims. She's the Elf swordmaster. so i came up with an idea. let me know what you think about this:

"Elf Swordmaster has the mission to defeat the Demon lord which turns out to be obviously the Demon girl. Elf swordmaster get's defeated and the demon lord sends her minions to "have fun" with her. After that, she joins the party. Till at a certain moment one of the most powerful demon lord minions reveals agains the demon lord and reduce her. then the minions have fun with both Elf swordmaster and the Demon lord. and when they're both about to pass out, elf swordmaster uses some kind of final attack and vanishes all enemies leaving the demon lord out of combat. After so much trouble the Elf swordmaster rises victorious."

Not sure if i should turn this into a really long animation (2 to 5 minutes long) which would take for ever to make, making my patreon dry AF for about a month or 2. or make like a short comic about it, simply animating the fun parts. Imagine the comic as one of those visual novels, but i could turn it into a long slideshow voice acted video with some animated parts. what do you guys think?

Idk for a long time animation would be the blendfile way to heavy for the mega archive :/ ? Anyway I'll like everything of ur work it's ur choice

oh wow. that's true xD i completely forgot. damn succubus drains my attention :P I had some issues with it since it's being ages since i animated quadrupeds. but i'll get it done before the end of the month i promise &lt;3

I think for such a long Storyline a comic would be easyer to make and for us it would be more to see, maybie upload once a week or something like that so you see directly what goes well and what not + with this "episodes" it could be easyer to actually tell the full Story and you don't have to compress it so much to make it fit into a 2-5 min animation, the important parts could still be animated (gif/ some other kind of endless loop) also the Storyline could be extendet this way...

Would do it in sepparate Blend files in order to make it easier to handle and render if that were the case ^^

Also I say go for the long animation, since you're bound to learn quite a bit and can keep the Patreon updated with a preview or two along the way. But do what works for you!

Nice, I bought the Demon Girl and fixed some of the weight paints to be able to close the eyes properly and fixed a problem when rotating her left ear the right ear ring is rotating and her finger bone rolls. And I added a lot of facial expressions in the pose library. :D Which I can use on the elf girl then as well. Since I can't rig myself only fix your hard work will come in handy! Thank you very much.

im with BaronStrap i would rather see long animation but if u dont want to do it, then at least couple of short loops :D

I think the long animation is the better idea too. I wouldnt worry too much about content drying up, i know of one or two other content creators that do longer animations and while it is quite a while in between major releases, posting WIP preview gifs and shorts is a way to keep content flowing while producing a major project like that. Also take some time away from the major project to do some other small/fast things, either using the characters from the major project, or unrelated ones. Doesnt even need to be animations, single shots are good too, like creating wallpapers. Doing that for characters featured in the major project is also a good way to promote its eventual release

Long animation is surely a nice milestone to do. I like the idea of the comic and animating the 'fun parts' as well. I think a comic of the small scenes and then animation for the long scenes. example of the demons havin fun with her would be animated but then the final attack to vanish all enemies would be in comic panels.
