Holy shit. This episode opened with so much tension. It ended exactly the same way.

So much happened in this episode. I had no idea what to focus on. But I feel like there is no way it's going to be that easy with Michael, even though his story seemed both believable and plausible.

And what is going on with Mosley (whose name I had to look up)? Also, I love Ada in this role.

As usual, Polly looks badass as hell.

Dont worry all the many moving parts will fall into place as the episodes go on. Don't forget Tommy spends a lot of his time in London at his apartment at Westminster, doing his politics job and not spending much time at home. You are right with Lizzie there is a part of me that thinks you know what you are getting into and you can't change Tommy, but on the other hand she wants Tommy to stop and enjoy the life he has built for them and be a good family man. His mental demons are taking over and making him paranoid and now has so much going on he isn't spending time with the family!!!!! Linda is fed up as well with Arthur not taking on more of a role instead of just being a scapegoat for Tommy. The relationships all around are falling apart. Ada always steps up to help Tommy whenever he needs her, love Ada. Ok..... the political questions Tommy is MP for the Labour party south Birmingham. Mosely is also an MP in the Labour party but is starting to move towards Facism because the Government at the time fell out with him over some policies. Tommy wants to do right for the British people but also working for the British Intelligent services undercover feeding them information about the communists (season 4) and now a bigger threat going into the 1930's the rise of Facism so is feeding them info about Moseley. Moseley knows Tommy is a good orator and has great influence of the people in the Midlands so needs him on his side to help him gather strength for Facism. The story shows how Tommy deals with his feelings about this. Watch out for Gina Gray she has come in like a whirlwind and is not afraid of Tommy. Is she wearing the trousers in this relationship????? The Billy boys are a gang from Glasgow Scotland (real gang in these times), and provide protection for Facism rallies so will link with Moseley and Tommy later. Hope that helps make sense of it.

Yeah, this Lizzie and Tommy relationship is making my head spin. I really cannot figure out how either of them feels about it. Is it just Tommy's ego being like she's birthed my child, so she's mine? Linda! I'm always so annoyed with her. Part of me thinks (no matter how much I complain about it) she's good for Arthur, but a bigger part of me thinks he was happier before he met her. (Not his son, though; I think he really loves him). But it seems like she's becoming a bit addicted to 'the life' as well. I'm not sure where they go from here. Yeah, after 5X3, I figured out the Mosely thing. I'm notorious for being annoyed when I don't immediately understand something. This is part of why reacting is so cathartic for me. Someone else will fill me in, without spoilers, so I don't have to drive myself crazy. Ugh. Poor Tommy. He just wants to do what he thinks is right, but there are so many people who depend on him at this point it's impossible to please everyone. I really think Gina is gonna be a force to be reckoned with. I'm super excited about interactions with both Tommy and Polly in the future. I knew I knew the name Billy Boys for a reason. Dude. You are incredibly helpful. I would miss so much without your help!
