Do we like this? I still cannot decide.

What I have decided though, is that it's totally time for Buck, Eddie, and Christopher to be an actually family. This feels like cannon. Not, my head cannon anymore. And, hell, let's throw Carla into that family too, right? This is my head cannon now. You can no longer convince me otherwise. They have to know what they are doing at this point, right?

So, we've got Buck in this sort of alternate dimension while he's in a medically induced coma. At first, he's thrilled with the life that he's living there. His parents love him, and are paying attention to him (but isn't that reminiscent of how they paid attention to him in the past when he was reckless and got hurt?).

Either way, Buck ends up in a fake reality where Daniel never died and his family is happy and whole. And it's hard for him to give that up. But he sort of quickly realizes that it's not real and goes to (fake?) Chimney for help. After a bit, they call in Hen and the three of them are trying to piece together what happened.

In his fake reality, Maddie and Doug are still together (which Buck hates), Bobby is dead (which Buck hates), Edie lost custody of Christopher (which Buck hates), but his blood family is good.

It takes Buck a bit to decide that the family he chose (and himself as Buck) is more important than a fantasy life, and eventually, he chooses to get back into his body and wake back up.

However, on the other (original side) Buck's parents decide they want to hang out and stay awhile. His mom decides to redecorate his apartment and dad wants to watch games with him, just like in his fake reality. Fingers crossed, this continues to be a good, happy parental experience for Buck.

Also, Chim decides to let his dad in a touch. As much as I don't want him to do this, I do understand, to an extent, why he'd want to. But, I just think he'd be happier if he continued along the way he was going. But, I guess Chim is a better person than me.

Plus, am I the only one who wants to see Oliver Stark as a villain after this episode?
