Wildfire 1X2: The Rescue (Patreon)

Why am I so emotional about this show? Again, I tell you, it's an ABC Family show, it should not be this good.

While I think there may have been too many shots of Kris escaping with Wildfire, this episode was so good! I loved pretty much everything about it (except for maybe the rich boy from the other farm trying to get Kris to go to the hot tub party).

I love that the mom has totally done a 180 on Kris. She went from 'she's trouble and can't be kissing my son' to 'I used to be her, how can I be that girl again?'

So, after Kris steals the horse, and causing panic at the auction in order to save Wildfire from being sold to someone who was gonna kill her (I think), she spends, like, half this episode running from the cops with Wildfire. Eventually she is caught and sent back to jail.

However, after her change of heart, Jean (I just looked up her name) comes to bail Kris out and tells her that she should probably plead guilty but if she doesn't want to, they can hire her a lawyer. Kris, says, no, she did it, she'll do the time. Jean also tells her that no matter how long her sentence is, there will be a job waiting for her when she gets out. Anyone who loves one horse that much deserves a place on their farm.

At sentencing the judge gives her another 18 months, but tells Kris that Jean has vouched for her, and if she can do 90 days without incident, they'll let her do the rest as work release on the farm.

When she pulls up to the jail everyone is waiting for her to say good bye. Wildfire included. They tell her that they are gonna train Wildfire as a racehorse starting when Kris gets out. I knew it!

I could totally do without Dani (yes, I had to look up her name too), but that's mostly because I am so protective over Kris already. Don't be mean to my friend!
