True Blood 2X7: Release Me (Patreon)

Oh, I think this was my favorite episode so far. This is one of those shows that literally has just been getting better and better as it's gone on. I don't know how much I was enjoying it when it started, but I'm so all in now.

So, Maryann is literally just causing chaos and upheaval because it's fun for her. I've spent so much time thinking about why she's doing this. What's her end game? And the answer is just, fun. I'm not sure if I love this or hate it. And she's somehow both God and Satan? Again, I don't know how I feel about this. But, on the plus side, it feels like Tara is finally putting the pieces together and is getting closer to knowing what the hell is going on.

Plus, Maryann has Daphne killed (via Eggs). It's kind of fucked up. And I don't really know why. Was it because she told Sam about her?

OMG. I hate this for Sookie right now. Fuck this asshole Hugo. However, why wasn't Sookie able to hear his thoughts about this betrayal? Why wasn't she able to read him before she touched him? I know she's talked previously about how sometimes it's not just words, it's images, but how is that decided? Do we ever find out? (Don't tell me.) And Gabe, the fucking asshole, who was in on Hugo betrayal, decides that raping Sookie is the fucking answer?!? Thank you Godric for showing up. I don't know where he's been or what that means, but still, thank you.

There is a ton miscommunication going on with Jason. It seems like they are after him because he slept with Sarah, but in actuality, they are after him because Sookie is there and they think he's a spy for her. And then, Sarah fucking shoots him! I originally didn't realize the cause of this was because she found out that he was Sookie's brother, but it was pretty obvious when I thought about it.
